FAQ
Short answers to the questions the site and the workspace actually support.
Is MissionFieldOS something I can buy?
No. MissionFieldOS is the workspace behind a Brain Build. You hire MissionField for a Field Map, an Install, or a retainer. The workspace is how that work is kept.
What does a Field Map cost?
$3,500, about two weeks. Install starts at $5,000. The retainer is $2,000 a month for 10 hours. The map fee can credit toward an Install within 30 days. See Offers and prices.
Will the chat read my Brain Build?
No. The workspace chat answers from these help articles. It does not open your notes, files, Glitch text, private team reads, or market notes. Open Mind Node for the cleaned picture. Open Capture for the words you typed.
Can I paste a transcript and have it summarized?
You can paste or upload a transcript up to 4 MB. You then pick excerpts by hand. Audio transcription is not connected. A recording with no transcript text is not rewritten. Marking a transcript reviewed cleans the Capture fields you already filled. It does not add facts that were not in those fields, and it does not search the web.
Why was my edit rejected?
Industry samples are view-only. A demo session always gets that refusal. On a real client session, a save can also fail if someone else changed the same record. Refresh and try again. The message will say the record changed in another view.
Where are my tasks?
Your next steps. Only shared tasks. The checkbox completes them. Ask Scott if a task you expected is missing. It may be marked internal.
Do you have case studies?
Four unnamed ones are on the website. The help article Published case studies repeats only those. Ask for a different industry and the honest answer is that it is not published.
How many questions can I ask the chat?
The public chat allows five questions an hour for a visitor. The workspace chat allows fifteen an hour for a signed-in session. After that, the chat stops and points you to book 30 minutes with Scott.
Do I have to buy software?
No. If a simpler process is the better fix, MissionField will say so. The practice is not built around one software platform. A Field Map may recommend a tool you already own, a process change, or buying nothing. You can leave with the plan after the map.
Who will I work with?
You work directly with Scott Cody. MissionField is small by design. When a project needs a specialist, Scott brings someone from the network and stays involved in the result.
What if I need a person?
Book 30 minutes with Scott. Bring one real task.
